چکیده

Context Clustering of unhealthy lifestyle behaviours has been well documented. Addressing multiple behavioural issues at the same time presents a challenge for both practitioners and the clients they serve. This four-group randomised trial sought to examine the comparative impact of interventions focused on a combination of one aspect of dietary behaviour (low-fat diet or fruit and vegetable intake) and one aspect of physical activity (sedentary screen time or moderate to vigorous physical activity). The investigators hypothesised that the combination of increasing intake of fruits and vegetables and decreasing sedentary screen time would maximise healthy change by fostering healthy substitution (of fruits/vegetables for fat and physical activity for sedentary leisure) and complementary behaviour change (decreased fat intake accompanying decreased sedentary leisure).
